Alarm Monitoring Service Options

Monitor New Zealand Limited encourages all of our business customers to subscribe to our Managed service, however, as we recognise that security budgets vary from one customer to another, we offer three levels of service.

Alarm Activations, Fail to Test and Fault signals responded to, plus Open / Close signals monitored and logged to history but not responded to.

Part Managed

Alarm Activations, Fail to Test and Fault signals responded to plus Scheduled Close checked once at night (Open Signals logged to history).

Fully Managed

Alarm Activations, Fail to Test and Fault signals responded to plus Scheduled Open / Close all checked against schedule.

Other Services

One of the greatest concerns to customers of the security industry is the time that it takes for a response to alarm activations by a security guard (not to mention the associated expense). 

Monitor New Zealand Limited has the ability to offer a far faster initial response by viewing your property over the internet using the CCTV or video cameras that you may already have in and around your premises. We can even capture images of what we see for your purusal at a later point in time (or for forwarding to the appropriate response authority). We call this our “Virtual Response” service.

The use of this same technology also allows Monitor New Zealand Limited to provide a service whereby we can randomly access your cameras during periods when your premises is vacated, and by using the pan, tilt and zoom functions of your camera system, determine whether all is as it should be. This service is called “Cyber Tour”.

In order to give you the best service around, we use 'Patriot' alarm monitoring software.

Automatic Dialling.

Efficient fast dialling of customers contact numbers reduces the time taken to communicate with customers.

SQL Database

Allows very large volumes of data from customer alarms to be processed very quickly.
